Players Code of Conduct

  • I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials and parents at all times.

  • I will remember that soccer is an opportunity to learn and have fun.

  • I deserve to play in an environment that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol; and expect everyone to refrain from their use at all soccer games.

  • I will do the best I can each day, remembering that all players have talents and weaknesses the same as I do.

  • I will treat my coaches, other players and coaches, game officials, other administrators, and fans with respect at all times; regardless of race, sex, creed, or abilities, and I will expect to be treated accordingly.

  • I will concentrate on playing soccer. Always giving my best effort.

  • I will play by the rules at all times.

  • I will at all times control my temper, resisting the temptation to retaliate.

  • I will always exercise self-control.

  • Conduct during competition towards play of the game and all officials shall be in accordance with appropriate behavior and in accordance with FIFA's "Laws of the Game", and in adherence to FYSA rules.

  • While traveling, shall conduct themselves so as to being credit to themselves and their team.

  • Alcohol, illegal drugs and unauthorized prescription drugs shall not be possessed, consumed or distributed before, during or after any game or at any other time at the field and/or game complex.

BRAZILIAN BALL SKILLS - STAGE 1

  1. Juggling (minimum 10 Juggles with feet)

  2. Bell Dribble

  3. Toe Taps

  4. Drag Back Turn

  5. Inside Hook Turn

  6. Outside Hook Turn

  7. Stop Turn

  8. Step Over Turn

  9. Crueff Turn

  10. Scissors over ball\

  11. Cradle, Scissors

  12. Matthew’s #1

  13. Cradle inside right, Cradle outside right
    Cradle inside left, Cradle outside left

COMPLETE EACH SKILL SET WITH LEFT AND RIGHT FOOT.
REPEAT EACH SKILL SET 3 TIMES AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT SKILL SET.


BRAZILIAN BALL SKILLS – Stage 2

  1. Juggling (minimum 30 using feet)

  2. Cradle inside right, cradle outside right
    Cradle inside left, cradle outside left

  3. Cradle outside, Cradle inside, Cradle behind

  4. Cradle outside left, cradle behind left, cradle outside right, cradle behind right

  5. Pull-Croeff left side, cradle inside right – outside of left touch out.  Pull-Croeff right side, cradle inside left – outside of right touch out

  6. Ronaldo #1

  7. Continuous Croeff’s

  8. Inside cradle, touch out

  9. Scissor, wicked cradle

  10. Cradle scissors

  11. Cradle double scissors

  12. Outside turns continuous

  13. Tornado’s

COMPLETE EACH SKILL SET WITH LEFT AND RIGHT FOOT. 
REPEAT EACH SKILL SET 3 TIMES AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT SKILL SET.


BRAZILIAN BALL SKILLS – Stage 3

  1. Pull across the body with left, touch inside with left (Be sure to open your hips)

  2. Continuous Pull Backs- Drag the ball back with right behind left foot, touch in front with right foot.

  3. The DALE- Pull the ball with left foot across your body, stepover with right, stop with right. Progression - Pull the ball with left foot across your body, stepover with right, touch out with inside of right.

  4. Pull the ball inwards with right, touch outside with the outside of right, pull back with right, touch inside with outside of right.

  5. The Swerve Scissor- Touch the ball inside with right foot, scissor with right, touch out with left. Progression – start by adding a cradle.

  6. Chop Behind- Dribble the ball and put your left foot in front of your right, cut the ball behind your left foot with right.

  7. Ronaldo #2- Cradle with right foot, scissor with right, chop behind with left.

  8. The HARRIS- Ronaldo with right, scissor with left.

  9. Cradle scissor with right, touch out with left, stepover with right.

  10. The Zidane - Touch with inside of right foot, turn, pull away with left (Similar to the Maradonna)

Use both feet on all of the moves.
