How Much Does This Program Cost My Athlete?
TOPS is offered as a free program for qualified athletes. We are committed to finding methods to under-write this program via sponsorships, grant, and donations from the community in order to provide this athlete and parent or guardian an opportunity to enjoy the program.
What Ages Are Accepted:?
The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age4 and older, who has a mental or physical disability.
How Can You Get Involved?
We have several volunteer positions that will be required to make this special program a success. Please consider one of the following positions:
Buddies: Our most important positions. These individuals will be paired up 1:1 with our athletes as a soccer companion to assist where necessary (physical help and verbal support), as well as encouragement to have FUN. Click here for more information
Logistics / Administrative: We need individuals who like to help with some of the behind-the-scenes work to help this program get off the ground and become a success. Examples for this role may include: Registration committee, follow-up phone calls, database entry, etc.
Sponsorship: As with most community outreach program, we are looking for sponsorship assistance and welcome interested individuals or businesses to contact us to discuss some creative sponsorship opportunities. Click here for more information
Need Further Information:
We had our first few informal meetings and have generated several 'next steps' action items. If you have questions on our TOPSoccer initiative and/or have resources to offer in this program, please contact Dave Robinson p 941-358-0497.
