Recreational All Star Team

I am very excited to announce that we will be forming recreational all star teams for the very first time in our history. These teams will get to play in a 4 game round robin style tournament against Sarasota and MAYSO, another are club. We will be forming one team in each age and gender group starting with the U7/8, U9/10, and U11/12. Our games will be held the first two weekends of February, a home and away game, and each team is expected to practice two or three times before the scheduled games. If your child is interested in participating, tryouts will be held the first week of January as follows:

U7/8 Boys - Thursday, January 6 at 6:00pm

U7/8 Girls - Thursday, January 6 at 6:30pm

U9/10 Boys - Wednesday, January 5 at 6:00pm

U9/10 Girls - Thursday, January 6 at 6:00pm

U11/12 Boys - Thursday, January 6 at 6:00pm

U11/12 Girls - Wednesday, January 5 at 6:00pm

Your child must be available to attend the practices and the games. The cost to participate will be $10/child. As mentioned above, some travel (Twin Lakes and GT Bray) will be required. Please arrive to tryouts 15 minutes early to register and get a tryout number.

We believe in providing all local community soccer players an opportunity to participate in the game of soccer at a level that meets their developmental needs (i.e., physical, mental, and emotional status).

Team Program Description:

Recreational Teams- This developmental program offers an instructional and participation program in the Fall and Spring. The program is available for players in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

The program is divided by age groups and provides an intramural or leisure soccer environment. This program is available to all youths regardless of playing ability. All registered youths are assigned to a team and play at least 50% of each game.
